The Fastbase Sandbox is free (USD 0.00) and takes sample data only. Do not put real personal data in it.
It comes as is, with no promise that it stays up. It may be paused, closed or wiped, and a project can be removed.
You keep your content. You are responsible for your account, your tokens and what the AI tools you connect do with them.
1. About these Terms
These Terms are an agreement between you and Fast Advanced Solutions Technologies Company (Unified National Number 7043724769, the company’s commercial registration; Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; “we”, “us”) about Fastbase (the “service”): this website, the Fastbase dashboard, the Management API, the AI connector at mcp.fastbase.sa, and the Sandbox projects you make with them. By using the service you accept these Terms. If you use it for a company or an organization, you accept them on its behalf.
2. The service
Fastbase gives you Sandbox projects. Each project is a backend for the customer’s app: a Postgres database, sign-in (Auth), a REST API, Realtime and file Storage, run on our server in Oracle Cloud’s Riyadh region. You make and manage projects from the dashboard, from the API, or from an AI tool that you connect. This is an early version of the service: we may add, change, limit or remove any part of it.
3. Sample data only
The Sandbox is for building and testing, and it costs USD 0.00. Put sample data in a project only: made-up data, never real personal data about a real person. That means your own users, customers and staff, and yourself. Real personal data includes names with ID numbers, phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, health records, and bank or card details.
Fastbase does not host real people’s personal data in the Sandbox. If you put it in a project anyway, you break these Terms, and we may delete the data, or the project, without notice.
An AI tool that you connect reads from your project what its work needs, and the tool’s vendor handles that under its own terms. The vendor’s servers may be outside the Kingdom (section 8).
An app that serves real users does not belong in the Sandbox. If you show an app you built here to other people, do not present it as hosted or approved by Fastbase, and do not make promises to its users on our behalf.
4. As is, with no promises
The Sandbox is given “as is” and “as available”, for testing. We do not promise any uptime or speed, that it will work without a break, that data will not be lost, or that it will suit your purpose. The Sandbox may be paused, restarted, changed, closed or wiped at any time, with or without notice, and a project can be removed: for example because it sits idle, because the server is full, because it breaks these Terms, or to protect the service. Keep your own copy of anything you want to keep. We take backups to run the service, but we promise no backup and no restore.
5. Accounts and access
You sign up and sign in with Google or GitHub. We use your email address for invitations and notices, which we send from Oracle’s email service in Riyadh. Fastbase opens in stages, so for now a sign-up comes with an access code, which we hand out ourselves.
An account belongs to one person. Do not share your sign-in. A team works together in an organization: its owner invites members, and each member uses their own account.
Keep your API tokens (they start with fbp_), your projects’ keys, and the sign-ins of your AI tools secret. You are responsible for what is done with them, including by an AI tool acting for you.
Give us a working email address and keep it current: we send invitations and notices to it.
We may block an account, a token or an AI tool’s sign-in that breaks these Terms or puts the service or other people at risk.
6. Limits
The Sandbox has limits: the number of live projects for each person, the room on our server (we refuse a new project when it is full), the size of what you send, and how often you may call the API. The numbers may change, and the documentation describes them.
Do not try to get around a limit, for example with several accounts.
Nothing is sold through the service today. If Fastbase starts to charge for anything, we will tell you first and ask you to accept terms for it.
7. Your content and our licence
You keep all rights in your content: the data, code and settings you put in your projects. You allow us to host it, copy it (for example in backups) and process it, only as far as needed to run the service for you, to keep it working and protected, and to meet our legal duties.
We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service.
You may not resell or rent access to the service itself, or present it as your own service, without a written agreement with us.
Fastbase is built on open source software. Each of its parts stays under its own licence, and these Terms do not change that.
The names and logos of other companies, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Google, GitHub and Oracle, belong to their owners. Showing them implies no endorsement by or of them.
8. AI tools and other companies
You may connect an AI tool (such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor) to your account. That is your choice. The tool acts with the access you give it, and what it does counts as done by you.
What a tool reads from your project goes to the tool’s vendor, and the vendor’s terms and privacy policy apply to it, not ours. We do not control the vendor, and its servers may be outside the Kingdom.
If you sign in with Google or GitHub, that company’s terms apply to that sign-in.
We host the service on Oracle Cloud and send our emails through Oracle’s email service. Those are our own arrangements with Oracle.
9. Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully. Do not use it to host anything that is illegal in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or where you live, to send spam or unwanted messages, to harm or mislead anyone, to spread malware, to attack other systems, or to mine cryptocurrency. Do not overload or attack the service, and do not try to reach another person’s project or data. Send security reports as section 10 says.
10. Protecting our technology (no reverse engineering)
This section applies to everyone who visits our website, downloads our apps, or receives any of our code in their browser or on their device, whether or not they create an account. Doing any of these means you accept it.
You may not, yourself or through anyone else, without our prior written permission:
reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decrypt or de-obfuscate our website, apps or APIs, or try to work out their source code, algorithms, models, AI instructions (prompts) or data structures;
use any tool, whether automated, AI-assisted or built for reverse engineering, to analyze the JavaScript files, app binaries or any other code we send to your browser or device, or to map how our services are built or which internal endpoints they call;
copy, bulk-download, archive, mirror or republish that code;
intercept, inspect, modify or replay the traffic between our apps and our servers, or call our APIs other than through our official apps and website;
scrape, crawl or otherwise collect our content or data by automated means, or use our services or their outputs to train or improve any AI model;
study, test or analyze our services in order to build, improve or benchmark a competing product, or to prepare a technical teardown or competitive analysis of them, for yourself or for anyone else.
The code we send to your browser or device is licensed to you only to run our services as intended. Reaching your device does not make it public and gives you no right to study, copy or reuse it.
Nothing in this section limits a right that applicable law expressly grants you despite a contractual ban, and only to the extent of that right.
If you find a security issue in good faith, please report it to hsa@fast.sa. Reporting does not authorize any testing beyond normal use of our services.
A breach of this section is a material breach of these Terms. We may block your access immediately and without notice, and take any legal action available under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including claiming compensation for damages.
Using our documented API and AI connector the way our documentation describes, with your own token or sign-in and within the limits of your plan, is not a breach of this section: it is what the service is for. Nor does this section restrict software that is part of the service and is licensed to everyone under an open licence: that software stays under its own licence (section 7).
11. Liability
To the extent the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia allow, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of data arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
12. Suspension and ending
You may stop using the service at any time. To have your account deleted, write to hsa@fast.sa from the email address on your account; you can delete your projects yourself in the dashboard. We may suspend or end your access, or close the Sandbox, if you break these Terms or to protect the service. We try to tell account holders by email before a planned closing, but we may close without notice when we need to. What happens to your data afterwards is set out in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we tell account holders about important changes by email. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
14. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the competent courts in Riyadh decide any dispute arising from them.
